Marcus Stroman to begin for Puerto Rico in quarter-final of WBC vs. Mexico

Puerto Rico will look to construct off their momentum from their win over the Dominican Republic once they tackle Mexico within the quarter-finals of the World Baseball Basic.

Former Toronto Blue Jays and present Chicago Cub starter Marcus Stroman will get the ball going up in opposition to Julio Urias for Mexico.

This will probably be Stroman’s second begin of the match after giving up one earned run on two hits whereas recording two strikeouts in 4.2 innings in opposition to Nicaragua.

After representing america within the 2017 World Baseball Basic, Stroman determined to signify Puerto Rico as a tribute to his mom.
